If you are a family member of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizens, you might meet the criteria for a Family Member Visa.
There are visa categories for people wishing to visit Australia;
• as a tourist
• on a working holiday
• for retirement (strict criteria applies)
• for medical treatment
• transiting through Australia, and

You can apply for a student visa if you are able to enrol in;
• an English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS)
• primary or secondary school
• vocational education and training
• higher education
• some non-award courses
• full time courses sponsored by AusAID or the Australian Department of Defence
• post graduate research
Parents or relatives can apply for a visa to stay in Australia as the guardian of a student who is studying in Australia.
